V-Ray GPU: An issue leading to a gradual increase in render time when rendering motion frames has been resolved
An issue preventing cloud rendering in certain scenes containing Back to Beauty rendering elements has been resolved

Cosmos

Cosmos has been updated to its latest version.
Materials from the standard material library are now in Cosmos. The legacy material library will be deprecated and Cosmos will remain a central, unified asset provider.
Importing specific Cosmos materials has been improved.

General

Materials created in SketchUp by default are no longer considered full-featured V-Ray materials. They are listed as Host Materials in the Asset Editor and can be promoted to V-Ray shaders at some point. This was done to help with scene setup and navigation, as well as compatibility with the new Enscape.

Improved animation export. Exporting SketchUp animations for rendering is now 10x faster. To achieve this, we have reimplemented the frame insertion logic that SU uses when evaluating camera or sun motion on the V-Ray side.

The V-Ray scene importer has been updated and can now import any V-Ray shader. ‘Unsupported’ shader nodes use an auto-generated UI – they are still editable. Note that this feature is still in beta.

Multiple geometry modifications can now be applied to the same scene object. Fur and Scatter can now be combined for example.

The Cosmos browser window now automatically appears after assets are placed and the active tool is changed.

VFB configurations are now saved between installations. History location now persists between installations
An issue that caused the VFB window to crash under SketchUp in certain situations has been resolved
Changing the GPU device selection used for rendering or deselecting it with the GPU device selector no longer causes issues and other crashes
An issue that caused a crash when starting rendering after deleting a scene has been resolved
SketchUp no longer crashes after selecting a focus point and then opening AE for the first time
SketchUp materials with texture transparency now render correctly, even before converting to a V-Ray material.
Some issues with VPR regions have been resolved
